What: A no-fuss fundraiser with minimal effort. The Display Fair includes one copy of every available book (hardcover and paperback) and an Online Resources Sample Packet. Adults order the books they want. The coordinator gathers the various orders and places a single order with Sylvan Dell. We fill the order and ship the books to the school.

Who: For teachers and parents. The coordinator can be a PTA member, a media specialist, or any school staff member.

Where: Coordinators can set up the Display Fair in any location that is easy for teachers to visit at their leisure.

When: We recommend that the Fair be displayed for a one-week period. Ideally, students will bring an announcement home beforehand and there will be a PTA meeting during the week. The display can easily be moved into the PTA meeting area for parents to peruse books and place orders.

Why: It's a wonderful opportunity for parents and educators to explore Sylvan Dell's picture books and purchase discounted copies for classrooms, media centers, and home libraries. PTAs can organize the Fair as a fundraiser. All book orders receive a 30% markdown, and the host school may purchase the complete display copy set for 40% off or a selection for 35% off.
