Button Images and Password Protect Issues

Depending on your website's security features and your password preferences, we offer the three link options shown below to access your eBook Site License (4 navigation buttons to choose from). We do not want this to be difficult but at the same time, we do not want the general public able to access the eBook Site License through your website without some verification that they are affiliated with your school or library. We are investigating IP Range geo-locating filters as an option and may be offering that shortly. In the meantime, here are the three options currently available.

1. Unlinked Buttons. For schools and libraries that use a password login for access to their website. Copy or download an image and then hyperlink the site license url (hot link) provided in the set-up email.

2. Buttons Pre-linked to the 6-digit Site Code Entry Page. For schools and libraries that do not use a password login for access to their website (which is most of us) and who want to use the 6-digit site code for login, we offer the following buttons each prelinked to the Site Code Entry page. Once there, your students or patrons can enter the unique 6-digit code associated with your eBook Site License.

3. Buttons Pre-linked to Personalized Passwords. For schools and libraries that do not use a password login for access to their website and who want to use a Personalized Password (rather than the 6-digit site code) for login, we can easily set this up for you. Just give us a call toll free: 877-243-3457 or with your desired password and choice of button and we'll create the links and hang them below for your IT folks to grab.

Here is how it works. You tell us what button and what password to use ... for example: button C and password: "cougar" (your school mascot). We'll create the simple password entry page and send you an email with the prelinked navigation button which we'll also keep below for about 2 weeks. When you click the link, enter the password in the window (lowercase), and click Login, your eBook Site License should open immediately. Anytime you need a password change, just give us a call.
